Ingredients
- 1 cup almond milk (8 oz.; or any other milk)
- 3 large Medjool dates , pitted (61 grams)
- 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract (2 grams)
- 1 cup frozen strawberries (6 oz; 167 grams)
- Handful of Ice Cubes
Instructions
- Combine the almond milk, dates, and vanilla in a high-speed blender, and blend until the dates are completely broken down. (If you don't have a powerful blender, you may want to soak the dates in the almond milk for 20 minutes to help them soften.)
- Add the frozen strawberries and blend again, until they are broken down.
- Finally, add the ice and blend once more, until a slushy texture is achieved. Serve right away.
Cup of Yum

- Nutrition information is for the whole batch, and is just an estimate, not a guarantee.
- If you don't have dates on hand, you can use 1 to 2 tablespoons of maple syrup instead.
