Biscuit Donuts
You won’t believe how fast, easy, and delicious these Biscuit Donuts are! You are only a few ingredients away from homemade donuts that taste like they are made from scratch.

Ingredients
- oil for frying
- 2/3 cup sugar
- 1 tablespoon cinnamon
- 16.3 oz can refrigerated jumbo biscuits
Instructions
- Add about 1 to 1 1/2 inches of oil to a deep skillet or Dutch oven. Heat over medium heat to about 350ºF.
- Combine the sugar and cinnamon in a shallow bowl or deep plate.
- Open the can of biscuits. Flatten each biscuit slightly, then use a small round cookie cutter to cut out the center.
- When the oil is hot, Add some of the biscuits (you don’t want to overcrowd the pan). Cook until the bottom of the biscuit is golden brown, then flip and cook the second side. This should take about 2 minutes per side. If the donut is browning too quickly, the inside won’t be cooked through, so you’ll want to turn the heat down.
- Once the donut is cooked, transfer the donut straight to the cinnamon sugar, turning the donut to coat in the cinnamon sugar.
- Continue until all of the donuts and the donut holes are cooked.

Notes
- You could also make a glaze for the donuts, or frost them with a chocolate frosting.
- I like to use the flaky layer biscuits, but really, any canned biscuits should work.
