Ingredients

  • 2 cans black beans drained and rinsed, 15 ounces each
  • 1/2 cup chopped yellow onion
  • 1/4 cup cilantro chopped, fresh
  • 1 clove garlic minced
  • 1 jalapeño seeds removed and diced, small
  • 2 tablespoons lime juice fresh
  • 1/4 teaspoon cumin ground
  • 1/4 teaspoon chili powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon kosher salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper

Instructions

    Cup of Yum
  1. Combine all ingredients in a food processor or blender. Blend until smooth.
  2. Taste and adjust seasoning as needed. Serve immediately or chill until serving.
