This homemade blackberry lemonade is the perfect refreshing cold drink for a hot day. It's a fun twist on lemonade using ripe summer blackberries that the whole family will love. It's a visually pretty drink with deep purple hues that takes just 10 minutes to make, and can easily be doubled or tripled for a crowd.

Ingredients
- 1 cup blackberries
- ½ cup granulated sugar
- 4 cups water divided
- ½ cup fresh lemon juice
Instructions
- Add the blackberries, sugar, and 1 cup of water to a small pot on high heat. Warm the water until the sugar dissolves, stirring frequently.
- Pour the blackberry sugar water into a blender and blend on high.
- Strain the syrup through a fine-mesh sieve, pressing on the sieve to remove as much liquid as possible.
- Add ice to a pitcher then pour in the strained blackberry syrup, the remaining 3 cups of cold water, and the lemon juice. Serve the blackberry lemonade garnished with blackberries and lemon slices.
