Blackberry Tea

Ingredients

  • 1 batch blackberry simple syrup see below for recipe
  • 2 tea bags iced tea sized, black tea, orange pekoe, green tea, earl grey tea, ginger tea, your choice

Instructions

    Cup of Yum
  1. Brew tea. Boil water. Add tea bags to a pitcher or large container. Pour in water. Stir with a wooden spoon. Let stand at least 5 minutes.
  2. Once tea has brewed, discard tea bags.
  3. Add simple syrup to brewed tea. Let stand 2 hours. Serve cold.
  4. Pour tea into serving glasses over ice. Garnish with fresh mint leaves or mint sprigs and fresh, whole blackberries.
