Ingredients

  • 4-6 garlic cloves coarsely chopped
  • 1-2 jalapeños stems and seeds removed, cut into quarters
  • 1/2 red onion cut into quarters
  • 1/2 cup cilantro loosely packed and stems included
  • 28 ounces diced tomatoes drained
  • 8 ounces diced green chiles drained

Instructions

    Cup of Yum
  1. Add the garlic, jalapenos, red onion and cilantro to a large blender. Pulse several times until finely chopped.
  2. Add the drained tomatoes and green chiles. Pulse several times or choose the "sauces" option for 5 seconds (if your blender has this option). Do not over mix, otherwise the power of your blender will result in juicing instead of a chunky salsa.
  3. Serve immediately or cover and refrigerate until ready to use.
