Ingredients
- 2 cans fire-roasted tomatoes 14 oz each, juices reserved
- lime juice 3-4 wedges of lime
- 2 large jalapeños seeds carefully removed
- 3 cloves garlic peeled
- 1 can green chilies diced, 4 oz
- 1 bunch fresh cilantro
- 1 medium red onion chopped
- 1 tsp smoked paprika
- 1 tsp ground cumin
- 1 tsp sugar
- 1-2 tsp kosher salt or to taste
- ½ tsp black pepper or to taste, freshly ground
Instructions
- Place all ingredients into blender. Blend just until everything is well combined. Add as much reserved tomato juice as needed to reach desired consistency. Store in airtight container, chilled, for up to a week.
