Blender Salsa Verde with Mango Recipe

Try this mango tomatillo salsa, an utterly delicious sweet savory salsa to kick your picnic up a notch or two.  This is super east to make too, just blend all the ingredients!

Ingredients

  • 5 tomatillos roughly chopped
  • 1 Mango ripe, diced
  • ½ tsp kosher salt
  • 1 Jalapeño large: cored, seeded and diced
  • ¼ cup cilantro chopped
  • pinch cinnamon

Instructions

    Cup of Yum
  1. Place all ingredients in a food chopper or food processor until thoroughly blended.
  2. Serve with your favorite chips.

Notes

  • Pro Tips:
  • Fresh is best. Tomatillos lose their texture when frozen or canned.
  • Again, fresh is best. Don't use canned mangoes, jalepeños, or tomatillos for this dish.
  • Don't feel limited by chips. Drizzle on fish tacos, grilled chicken or pork.
