Ingredients

  • 2 ounces cachaca
  • 2 teaspoons superfine sugar
  • 1/2 a blood orange cut into wedges

Instructions

  1. Muddle the orange wedges and sugar together in a cocktail shaker. Add the Cachaca and shake with ice.
  2. Strain into a glass over ice, or pour the entire shaken contents (fruit and all) into a glass. It's important to use the whole fruit and not just juice to get the oils from the skin. Garnish with a blood orange slice.
