BLT sandwich
This classic BLT sandwich is a great go to recipe for a quick lunch that the whole family will love. Crisp lettuce, bacon and juicy tomatoes are sandwiched between toasted slices of bread for one simple but delicious bite.

Ingredients
- 8 lices bread toasted
- 2 tomatoes thick sliced in rounds
- 8 lices cooked thick cut bacon
- lettuce (iceberg, bibb, or Romaine)
- 8 Tablespoon mayo
Instructions
- Wash lettuce, dry and cut into shreds.
- Spread each slice of bread with 1 tablespoon mayonnaise.
- Top with bacon, tomatoes and lettuce. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
- Cut in half and serve.

Notes
- I definitely recommend toasting your bread. It adds a great crunch and I also find it easier to eat this way.
- Dry your lettuce well before adding to the sandwich to avoid soggy bread.
- Use pre-cooked bacon to make this BLT sandwich super quick to assemble.
