Blue Smoothie Bowl

This vibrant blue smoothie bowl is made with blue spirulina powder, frozen banana, cauliflower, and Greek yogurt. It’s thick, creamy, and refreshing!

Ingredients

  • 1 frozen banana
  • 1 cup frozen cauliflower florets or frozen riced cauliflower
  • ½ cup plain greek yogurt dairy-free if needed
  • 1 scoop (25 grams) vanilla protein powder (optional)
  • 1 teaspoon blue spirulina powder
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • ¼ cup unsweetened plain or vanilla almond milk plus more as needed (add 1 T at a time)
  • Toppings: kiwi blueberries, coconut chips, granola, blackberries, nut butter

Instructions

  1. In a high powered blender, add almond milk and then the remaining ingredients. Blend until smooth, using the tamper to move the frozen banana and cauliflower around until no frozen chunks remain.
  2. Add in more almond milk a little at a time, if needed until you reach your desired thickness.
  3. Scoops or pour the smoothie into a bowl, top with desired toppings and enjoy!
