Blueberry Mint Limeade
Blueberry Mint Limeade is a refreshing beverage combining blueberry syrup made by simmering fresh blueberries with mint and sweetener, mixed with fresh lime juice and water. Its bright tartness is complemented by aromatic mint and subtle sweetness, served chilled with ice and garnished with lime slices and mint leaves.
Ingredients
- 6 cups water divided use
- 1 cup blueberries fresh
- 2-3 mint fresh sprigs
- 3-4 tablespoons agave nectar amount will vary depending on the sweetness of the fruit, or other sweetener

Instructions
- Place 1 cup water, the blueberries, and mint in a medium saucepan and bring to a simmer. Simmer until the blueberries start to break down and release their juices, 3-4 minutes. Remove from heat and stir in the agave. Let cool.
- Pour the blueberry syrup into a large pitcher and stir in the lime juice and remaining 5 cups of water. Refrigerate.
- To serve, fill glasses with ice and add some blueberries to the glasses. Pour the blueberry limeade into the glasses and garnish with lime slices and mint leaves.
Notes
- Add sparkling water to individual servings for a fizzy variation of the limeade.
