Blueberry Mint Limeade
Description
This Blueberry Mint Limeade recipe starts with gently simmering fresh blueberries and mint in water to extract vibrant color and flavor. After the blueberries break down, the mixture is sweetened with agave nectar and cooled to form a fruit-infused syrup.
The syrup is then combined with freshly squeezed lime juice and additional water to dilute the concentrate into a balanced, tangy drink. The mint adds fresh herbal notes, complementing the tart lime and sweet blueberry flavors.
Serving the limeade over ice with fresh blueberries, lime slices, and mint leaves enhances presentation and freshness, making it suitable for warm days or as a non-alcoholic refreshment.
For some fizz, sparkling water can be stirred into individual servings for a lightly carbonated version without altering the syrup preparation.
