Blueberry spinach smoothie

Blueberry spinach smoothie recipe is super healthy and easy to make.  The entire recipe is so delicious and a great way to sneak veggies in.

Ingredients

  • 1 cup spinach (loosely packed)
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 2 cups blueberries (frozen)
  • 1 banana
  • 1/2 cup yogurt (regular or greek yogurt)
  • 1 cup ice

Instructions

    Cup of Yum
  1. Blend the spinach and the milk together in a blender until combined.
  2. Then add in the yogurt, blueberries and bananas to the smoothie and blend until well combined.
  3. Next gradually add in the ice and blend between each addition until the smoothie is the consistency that you prefer.
  4. Serve immediately while cold and enjoy!

Notes

  • You can use regular milk, almond milk or soy milk for this recipe. 
  • Also, you can add in any of your favorite superfoods to add extra nutrients to this smoothies: chia seeds, flax seeds, etc.
