Ingredients

  • 2 cups whole wheat flour
  • 2/3 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1 1/2 teaspoons baking soda
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1 1/2 cups buttermilk
  • 2/3 cup molasses
  • 1/2 cup raisins

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees and spray a 9x5 loaf pan with baking spray.
  2. In a large bowl sift together whole wheat flour, flour, baking soda and salt.
  3. Whisk in buttermilk and molasses until well combined then stir in the raisins.
  4. Pour into loaf pan and bake for 55-60 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean.
