Ingredients

  • 4 pork loin chops , boneless (1 inch thick)
  • 1 teaspoon kosher salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon coarse ground black pepper
  • 1/2 cup whole milk
  • 1 large egg
  • 2 cups saltine crackers , crushed finely
  • 1/2 teaspoon paprika
  • 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
  • 2 tablespoons unsalted butter

Instructions

  1. Season pork chops with salt and pepper.
  2. In a low bowl whisk together milk and egg until well combined.
  3. Add saltine crumbs to a second bowl with paprika.
  4. Dredge pork chops in the egg wash then press into the crumb mixture.
  5. Let pork chops sit for 2-3 minutes then add vegetable oil and butter to a large heavy skillet on medium-high heat.
  6. Cook pork chops for 4-5 minutes on each side until cooked through (minimum temperature of 145 degrees).
