Ingredients
- 1 premade pie crust refrigerated
- 6 large eggs
- 3/4 cup milk or cream
- 3/4 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
- 1 cup cooked ham chopped
- 1 1/2 cups shredded cheese divided
- 3 tablespoons green onions sliced
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 375°F.
- Gently unroll the pie crust and fit it into a 9-inch pie plate. Crimp the edges for a decorative touch.
- In a large mixing bowl, whisk together the eggs, milk or cream, salt, and black pepper until well combined.
- Evenly distribute the chopped ham, 1 cup of shredded cheese, and the green onions in the crust. Carefully pour the egg mixture over those ingredients. Sprinkle the remaining 1/2 cup of cheese over the egg mixture.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 35 to 40 minutes, or until the quiche is set in the center and the cheese is golden brown.
- Allow the quiche to cool for 5 to 10 minutes before slicing. Serve immediately.
