Ingredients
- 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
- 1 yellow onion , diced
- 1 Jalapeño , minced
- 15 ounces Kidney Beans , drained and rinsed
- 30 ounces pinto beans , drained and rinsed
- 2 cups brisket , cooked and chopped
- 1 cup barbecue sauce
- 1/2 cup brown sugar , packed
- 2 tablespoons ketchup
- 1 tablespoon Dijon mustard
- 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
- Add oil to a large cast iron skillet on medium high heat.
- Add onion and jalapeno and cook for 4-5 minutes until translucent, stirring occasionally.
- In a large bowl mix onion mixture, kidney beans, pinto beans, brisket, barbecue sauce, brown sugar, ketchup, dijon mustard and Worcestershire sauce.
- Pour into 13x9 baking dish and bake for 60 minutes.
