Ingredients

  • 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
  • 1 yellow onion , diced
  • 1 Jalapeño , minced
  • 15 ounces Kidney Beans , drained and rinsed
  • 30 ounces pinto beans , drained and rinsed
  • 2 cups brisket , cooked and chopped
  • 1 cup barbecue sauce
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar , packed
  • 2 tablespoons ketchup
  • 1 tablespoon Dijon mustard
  • 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce 

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
  2. Add oil to a large cast iron skillet on medium high heat.
  3. Add onion and jalapeno and cook for 4-5 minutes until translucent, stirring occasionally.
  4. In a large bowl mix onion mixture, kidney beans, pinto beans, brisket, barbecue sauce, brown sugar, ketchup, dijon mustard and Worcestershire sauce.
  5. Pour into 13x9 baking dish and bake for 60 minutes.
