Brown Rice & Quinoa Porridge 玄米とキヌアのお粥

This super simple Brown Rice & Quinoa Porridge is perfect for cold winter mornings and when you need something soft and comforting to eat when you're sick.

Ingredients

  • 2/3 cup cooked brown rice and quinoa
  • 2/3 cup soy or almond milk
  • 1 tsp Natvia
  • 1 pinch cinnamon

Instructions

    Cup of Yum
  1. Put all ingredients in a sauce pan and bring to boil.
  2. Reduce the heat to low and simmer for about 5 minutes.
  3. Top with blueberries, raspberries, flaked almonds and rice malt syrup.

Notes

  • The 30 minutes of prep time is for cooking the rice and quinoa in a rice cooker. If you don't have a rice cooker, boil the quinoa and rice together with water in a pot to cook it.
