Ingredients

For the Cake:
  • 3/4  cup  unsalted butter , softened
  • 1  cup  brown sugar , packed
  • 1/2  cup  sugar
  • 1/4 cup  sour cream
  • 2  teaspoons  vanilla extract
  • 3  large eggs
  • 1 1/2  cups  flour
  • 1/2  teaspoon  salt
  • 1/2  teaspoon  baking soda
  • 1  teaspoon  white vinegar
  • 1 cup pecans , finely chopped
For the Glaze:
  • 2 tablespoons whole milk
  • 2 1/2 cups powdered sugar

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 325 degrees and grease a 12 cup bundt cake pan with baking spray.
  2. In your stand mixer cream the butter, brown sugar and sugar until light and fluffy, about 3 minutes.
  3. Add sour cream, vanilla extract and eggs (add the eggs one at a time) until well mixed.
  4. Sift the flour, baking soda and salt then add it into the stand mixer until just combined on low speed.
  5. Add in the vinegar and the chopped pecans until just combined.
  6. Pour into bundt pan and bake 1 hour and 30 minutes.
  7. Cool for 10 minutes before removing from pan, then let cool completely before icing.
  8. To ice, mix the powdered sugar with the milk until you have a thick but pourable consistency, adding up to an additional tablespoon of milk if needed.
  9. Pour the glaze over the cake.
