Ingredients

Brownie Mix Cookies
  • 1 box (18.3 ounces) fudge brownie mix (I used the Betty Crocker brand)
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 2 large eggs beaten
  • 1/2 cup butter melted
  • 2 Tablespoons water
Cream Cheese Frosting
  • 5 ounces cream cheese, softened softened
  • 3 Tablespoons butter softened
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 2 ¼ cups powdered sugar

Instructions

    Cup of Yum
  1. For cookies: Whisk together the brownie mix and flour in a large bowl. Stir in the eggs until combined, then butter and water. Batter will be thick. Cover and refrigerate for one hour.
  2. Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F. Scoop tablespoonfuls of dough onto lightly greased cookie sheets, spacing at least 2 inches apart. Bake for 10 to 12 minutes. Remove from the oven and let cool on the cookie sheets. Cool completely before frosting.
  3. For frosting: Cream the cream cheese and butter together, with a hand mixer, on medium speed. Add in vanilla extract and powdered sugar. Beat until soft and creamy. Spread frosting on cooled cookies.
