Ingredients
Brownie Mix Cookies
- 1 box (18.3 ounces) fudge brownie mix (I used the Betty Crocker brand)
- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 2 large eggs beaten
- 1/2 cup butter melted
- 2 Tablespoons water
Cream Cheese Frosting
- 5 ounces cream cheese, softened softened
- 3 Tablespoons butter softened
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 2 ¼ cups powdered sugar

Instructions
- For cookies: Whisk together the brownie mix and flour in a large bowl. Stir in the eggs until combined, then butter and water. Batter will be thick. Cover and refrigerate for one hour.
- Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F. Scoop tablespoonfuls of dough onto lightly greased cookie sheets, spacing at least 2 inches apart. Bake for 10 to 12 minutes. Remove from the oven and let cool on the cookie sheets. Cool completely before frosting.
- For frosting: Cream the cream cheese and butter together, with a hand mixer, on medium speed. Add in vanilla extract and powdered sugar. Beat until soft and creamy. Spread frosting on cooled cookies.
