Ingredients

  • 1 pie crust , unbaked
  • 1/2 cup butter melted, unsalted
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 3 large egg
  • 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
  • 1/4 cup cocoa powder unsweetened
  • 1/2 cup flour
  • 1 cup chocolate chips divided, semi-sweet

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
  2. Line your pie tin with your pie crust.
  3. Whisk together melted butter, sugar, eggs and vanilla extract.
  4. Add the cocoa powder and flour and whisk until just combined.
  5. Stir in 3/4 cup of the chocolate chips.
  6. Pour batter into pie crust.
  7. Sprinkle remaining chocolate chips over the batter.
  8. Bake for 40-45 minutes (tent with aluminum foil if pie crust is browning too quickly).
