Ingredients

  • 1 cup buckwheat
  • 1 lb ground chicken
  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 1 onion diced
  • 2 carrots shredded
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 tbsp ground black pepper
  • 1 tsp paprika
  • 2 tbsp salt adjust to taste
  • 2 tbsp oil

Instructions

  1. Prepare ingredients. Boil buckwheat in 2 cups of water until fully cooked.
  2. Preheat a skillet with oil over medium heat. Add in diced onion and grated carrots. Cook until mixture is softened. Puree with a blender.
  3. Combine buckwheat, eggs, vegetables, ground meats, and seasoning. Stir to combine until you get an even mixture.
  4. Form a patty about the size of your palm. Preheat a non stick skillet on medium highheat, and brown both sides of each patty. Place them on a baking sheet.
  5. Bake for about 30 minutes at 350°F. Serve immediately.
