Buffalo Chicken Dip with Franks Buffalo Sauce

Ingredients

  • 8 oz. cream cheese
  • ¼ cup sour cream
  • ¼ cup Frank's Red Hot Buffalo Wing Sauce
  • ¼ cup crumbled bleu cheese
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1 tablespoon dried parsley
  • 1 tablespoon Dried onion flakes
  • 2 cups cooked chicken chopped

  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit. Using a stand mixer, fitted with a paddle attachment, place the softened cream cheese in the bowl, and beat until whipped and fluffy.
  2. Once the cream cheese is fluffy add the sour cream, buffalo sauce, blue cheese, ¾ cups cheddar cheese, parsley, onion flakes, and diced chicken. Beat for one minute on medium-low until all the ingredients are well incorporated.
  3. Spay the cooking spray in an oven-proof glass pie plate. Carefully transfer the buffalo chicken mixture into the bowl. Sprinkle the remaining cheddar cheese on top of the dip. Bake for 20-25 minutes until golden brown.
  4. Serve hot immediately with tortilla, corn chips or even veggies.

Notes

  • Room-Temperature Cream Cheese - Softened cream cheese mixes more easily and ensures a smooth dip.
  • Shred Your Own Cheese - Pre-shredded cheese often contains anti-caking agents that can affect melting. Freshly shredded cheese melts smoother.
  • Use a Cast Iron Skillet - If you want a rustic presentation, bake and serve the dip straight from a cast iron skillet.
  • Double the Recipe: For larger gatherings, simply double the ingredients and use a larger baking dish.
