Ingredients
- 8 oz. cream cheese
- ¼ cup sour cream
- ¼ cup Frank's Red Hot Buffalo Wing Sauce
- ¼ cup crumbled bleu cheese
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- 1 tablespoon dried parsley
- 1 tablespoon Dried onion flakes
- 2 cups cooked chicken chopped
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit. Using a stand mixer, fitted with a paddle attachment, place the softened cream cheese in the bowl, and beat until whipped and fluffy.
- Once the cream cheese is fluffy add the sour cream, buffalo sauce, blue cheese, ¾ cups cheddar cheese, parsley, onion flakes, and diced chicken. Beat for one minute on medium-low until all the ingredients are well incorporated.
- Spay the cooking spray in an oven-proof glass pie plate. Carefully transfer the buffalo chicken mixture into the bowl. Sprinkle the remaining cheddar cheese on top of the dip. Bake for 20-25 minutes until golden brown.
- Serve hot immediately with tortilla, corn chips or even veggies.
Notes
- Room-Temperature Cream Cheese - Softened cream cheese mixes more easily and ensures a smooth dip.
- Shred Your Own Cheese - Pre-shredded cheese often contains anti-caking agents that can affect melting. Freshly shredded cheese melts smoother.
- Use a Cast Iron Skillet - If you want a rustic presentation, bake and serve the dip straight from a cast iron skillet.
- Double the Recipe: For larger gatherings, simply double the ingredients and use a larger baking dish.
