Pizza
- 1 pound pizza dough homemade or store-bought
- 2 cups shredded Mozzarella cheese
- 1 cup shredded cooked chicken
- 1/4 cup sliced green onion
Buffalo Sauce
- 4 ounces cream cheese
- 1/2 cup buffalo sauce
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1 teaspoon black pepper
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 500°F (260°C). If using a pizza stone, place it inside the oven while preheating.
- Roll out the pizza dough on a lightly floured surface to form a 12-inch circle. Carefully transfer the dough onto a pizza pan or a pizza peel lightly dusted with cornmeal if using a pizza stone.
- In a medium bowl, use a hand mixer to whip together 4 ounces cream cheese, 1/2 cup buffalo sauce, 1 teaspoon garlic powder, 1 teaspoon salt, and 1 teaspoon black pepper. Mix until smooth and well combined.
- Spread the prepared buffalo sauce evenly over the rolled-out pizza dough, leaving a small border for the crust.
- Sprinkle 1 3/4 cups of the shredded mozzarella cheese over the sauce, followed by the shredded cooked chicken and sliced green onions. Top with the remaining 1/4 cup of mozzarella cheese.
- Transfer the pizza to the oven and bake for 10-15 minutes, or until the cheese is melted, bubbly, and slightly browned. If using a pizza stone, the crust should be crisp and golden.
- Once baked, remove the pizza from the oven, slice, and enjoy!
