Buffalo Chicken Pizza

Our Buffalo Chicken Pizza blends cream cheese into the buffalo sauce to take it over the top with all the buffalo chicken flavors you love.

Ingredients

Pizza
  • 1 pound pizza dough homemade or store-bought
  • 2 cups shredded Mozzarella cheese
  • 1 cup shredded cooked chicken
  • 1/4 cup sliced green onion
Buffalo Sauce
  • 4 ounces cream cheese
  • 1/2 cup buffalo sauce
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon black pepper

  1. Preheat oven to 500°F (260°C). If using a pizza stone, place it inside the oven while preheating.
  2. Roll out the pizza dough on a lightly floured surface to form a 12-inch circle. Carefully transfer the dough onto a pizza pan or a pizza peel lightly dusted with cornmeal if using a pizza stone.
  3. In a medium bowl, use a hand mixer to whip together 4 ounces cream cheese, 1/2 cup buffalo sauce, 1 teaspoon garlic powder, 1 teaspoon salt, and 1 teaspoon black pepper. Mix until smooth and well combined.
  4. Spread the prepared buffalo sauce evenly over the rolled-out pizza dough, leaving a small border for the crust.
  5. Sprinkle 1 3/4 cups of the shredded mozzarella cheese over the sauce, followed by the shredded cooked chicken and sliced green onions. Top with the remaining 1/4 cup of mozzarella cheese.
  6. Transfer the pizza to the oven and bake for 10-15 minutes, or until the cheese is melted, bubbly, and slightly browned. If using a pizza stone, the crust should be crisp and golden.
  7. Once baked, remove the pizza from the oven, slice, and enjoy!
