Buffalo Chicken Pizza Recipe

Ingredients

  • 1 large pizza crust*
  • 2½ cups cooked chicken shredded**
  • ½ cup buffalo wing sauce like Frank’s Red Hot sauce
  • ⅓ cup ranch dressing
  • 2 tablespoons chopped green onion
  • 2 cups shredded Mozzarella cheese
  • ⅓ cup crumbled blue cheese

  1. Preheat the oven to 425℉. Once heated, place the pizza stone or pan in the oven to preheat.
  2. Place the pizza crust on a large piece of parchment paper. (If the crust is still in dough form, roll out the dough.)
  3. In a bowl, combine the buffalo sauce and cooked chicken. Spread a thin layer of ranch dressing on the pizza crust. Top the pizza with the buffalo chicken, green onion, mozzarella cheese, and blue cheese.
  4. Remove the pizza pan or stone from the oven. Slide the pizza onto the pan and bake for 10-15 minutes; until the cheese is melted and bubbly, the crust is crispy on the outside, and dough is cooked through.
  5. Finish with a sprinkle of chopped green onion, a drizzle of extra ranch dressing, and buffalo wing sauce to serve.

Notes

  • * Any type of pizza crust will work, including pre-baked pizza crust, pre-made refrigerated pizza dough, homemade pizza dough, or cauliflower pizza crust. Cook time will vary depending in the type of crust you use.
  • **A rotisserie chicken from the grocery store works well. You can also cook 2 large chicken breasts in the Instant Pot or slow cooker or use any leftover cooked chicken that you have on hand.
