Buffalo Chicken Sliders

Buffalo chicken sliders are so simple to make and can easily feed a crowd. Creamy gooey sliders packed with flavor and heat from buffalo sauce!

Ingredients

  • 1 chicken breast
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp black pepper
  • 1 tbsp sour cream
  • 4 oz cream cheese
  • 2 tbsp buffalo sauce
  • 3 tbsp BBQ sauce
  • 1 pack Hawaiian rolls
  • 1 tbsp melted butter
  • 1 tbsp sesame seeds optional

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350 F, line a baking sheet with aluminum foil.
  2. Rub olive oil all over the chicken breast and rub with salt and pepper. Place on the baking sheet and cook for 25-30 minutes until fully cooked. Let it rest for 10 minutes then shred it.
  3. In a bowl, mix shredded chicken, sour cream, cream cheese, buffalo sauce and bbq sauce. Using a spatula, mix well until everything is combined.
  4. Cut the rolls lengthwise so you have to big pieces.
  5. Place the bottom part in an oven safe dish and spread the buffalo chicken mixture on top.
  6. Place the top part of the rolls on the mixture and press a little.
  7. Brush melted butter on the rolls and sprinkle the sesame seeds.
  8. Cover with aluminum foil and bake for 20 minutes, uncover and bake for another 5 minutes.
  9. Serve warm.

Notes

  • You can use leftover chicken or rotisserie chicken. The cooking time will be 25 minutes if you do so.
