Buffalo Chicken Sliders Recipe

These buffalo chicken sliders are the perfect appetizer with shredded chicken drenched in spicy buffalo sauce, topped with melty cheese, so easy to make!

Ingredients

  • 24 ounces shredded chicken warmed (3 cups – rotisserie chicken is great for this)
  • 1 cup buffalo sauce use homemade or your favorite brand
  • ½ cup blue cheese dressing or use ranch dressing
  • salt to taste
  • 12 slider buns
  • 2-3 cups shredded Mozzarella cheese or use Monterrey jack or pepper jack
  • ¼ cup melted butter
  • 1 teaspoon red pepper flakes
  • 1 teaspoon fresh chopped parsley

Instructions

  1. Heat oven to 350 degrees F (175C).
  2. Mix together the warmed shredded chicken, buffalo sauce, blue cheese dressing, and salt (if desired) in a large mixing bowl.
  3. Spread out the bottoms of the slider rolls onto a lightly oiled baking sheet. Top each with half of the shredded cheese.
  4. Divide the buffalo chicken mixture onto the buns, 2 ounces each, then top with remaining shredded cheese.
  5. Add the tops of the slider buns, then brush each with melted butter. Sprinkle on red pepper flakes.
  6. Bake for 10 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and the bun tops are nicely browned.
  7. Sprinkle with chopped parsley and serve!

Notes

  • This recipe is great with leftover shredded chicken or rotisserie chicken.
