Ingredients

  • 100 gms butter softened, unsalted, 7 tablespoons
  • 185 gms caster sugar sifted, 6.5 oz
  • ½ tsp vanilla extract or essence
  • 200 gms self-raising flour sifted, 1.6 cups
  • 125 ml milk 1/2 cup
  • 2 egg
  • 1 creme patissiere cooled, batch

Notes

  • You will have some crème patissière left. You can use it to make Profiteroles or Fruit Tartelettes. You can keep it in the fridge for 2 or 3 days.
