Ingredients
- 2 cups all purpose flour
- 2 tablespoons sugar
- 1½ teaspoon baking powder ¾
- ¾ teaspoon baking soda
- ½ teaspoon salt
- 1½ cup buttermilk
- 6 tablespoons unsalted butter melted
- 2 large eggs
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
Instructions
- Prepare the waffle iron by spraying with a non stick cooking spray and preheating.
- In a large bowl combine the flour, baking powder, baking soda, and salt. Stir tocombine.
- In a smaller bowl, combine the granulated sugar, buttermilk, butter, and eggs. Whisk to combine.
- Add dry ingredients into wet ingredients 1⁄3 at a time, mixing in between.
- Pour the batter onto the waffle iron. Cook according to the directions of your waffle maker or until waffles are cooked through and crispy on both sides.
