Caesar Dressing
This Caesar Dressing blends mayonnaise, Parmesan cheese, lemon, garlic, and anchovy paste to create a creamy, tangy condiment with a classic rich Umami flavor. It’s thick enough to cling well to greens but can be thinned with water if desired, suitable for salads or as a dip.
Ingredients
- ⅔ cup mayonnaise good quality
- ⅓ cup Parmesan Cheese finely grated
- 3 tablespoons lemon juice freshly squeezed
- 2 tablespoons extra-virgin olive oil
- 1 tablespoon garlic Use 2 teaspoons if you like less garlic, minced, fresh
- 2 teaspoons Dijon mustard
- 2 teaspoons lemon zest
- 1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
- 1 teaspoon anchovy paste
- ¼ teaspoon black pepper
- ⅛ teaspoon kosher salt Morton brand
Instructions
- In a small bowl, whisk together all ingredients until well combined. Makes just a bit more than 1 cup of dressing.
Notes
- If you prefer a thinner dressing, add water 1 teaspoon at a time to achieve desired consistency.
- Store the dressing in a sealed container in the refrigerator for up to one week.
- Use fresh lemon juice and garlic for the best flavor balance.
