Cajun Chicken with Hummus

Cajun Chicken with Hummus features seasoned chicken breast strips pan-fried with Cajun spices, served alongside a fresh salad of valerian greens, cucumber, tomatoes, and radishes. A homemade hummus made from chickpeas, tahini, lemon juice, garlic, and cumin complements the dish with creamy texture and Middle Eastern flavor notes.

Ingredients

  • 300 g chicken breast
  • 1 tsp Cajun seasoning
  • 1 tsp paprika sweet
  • 100 g valerian or salad mix
  • 1 cucumber small
  • 150 g cherry tomato
  • 5 radish
  • 400 g chickpeas canned
  • lemon juice of half
  • 40 ml olive oil
  • 1/2 garlic clove
  • 5 g tahini
  • 3 g cumin Turkish cumin
  • salt
  • black pepper

Instructions

Hummus:

  1. Drain the canned chickpeas and combine in a bowl with the lemon juice, 1 floz of olive oil, a little water, garlic, tahini paste, cumin, salt and pepper.
Cajun Chicken
  1. Cut the chicken breast into strips and season with Cajun seasoning, paprika, salt and pepper.
  2. Fry the chicken in a non-stick pan with a little olive oil.
  3. Slıce the radishes and cut the cucumber and tomatoes ınto small cubes.
  4. Mix the valerian, cucumbers, tomatoes, and radishes. For the salad dressing mix some lemon juice, olive oil, salt and pepper.
