Cajun Shrimp
Cajun Shrimp is a spiced seafood dish featuring shrimp coated in a paste made from Cajun seasoning, smoked paprika, garlic powder, and a touch of water. It is cooked either on a stovetop skillet or grilled, creating a slightly spicy, smoky crust that enhances the natural sweetness of the shrimp. The recipe calls for cooking shrimp in batches to avoid overcrowding and moisture buildup, ensuring a good sear and firm texture. This dish suits varied serving styles and can be adapted for heat preferences by adjusting cayenne levels.
