Ingredients
- 1 pound flank/skirt/bottom round steak
- ⅔ cup soy sauce
- ⅓ cup olive oil
- ¼ cup chopped cilantro
- 4 cloves garlic finely minced
- ½ teaspoon black pepper
- ½ teaspoon kosher salt
- 2 cups French Fries
- 1 teaspoon taco seasoning
- 1 cups shredded sharp cheddar cheese
- ½ cup sour cream
- ½ cup guacamole
- ½ cup salsa
- 4 burrito size flour tortillas
Instructions
- Add soy sauce, olive oil, cilantro, garlic, salt, and pepper to a shallow dish.
- Add steak and toss to coat. Cover and refrigerate for 1-2 hours and up to 12 hours.
- When ready to make the burritos cook fries according to package directions and season with taco seasoning.
- Heat a large cast iron skillet over medium-high heat.
- Transfer marinated steak from the marinade to the skillet. Sear meat for 3 minutes on each side or until internal temp of 140 degrees Fahrenheit or your desired doneness. Let rest for 5 minutes, then thinly slice against the grain.
- Assemble each burrito by grabbing a flour tortilla and adding ¼ of the steak, ¼ of the shredded cheese, ¼ of the fries, a couple tablespoons of sour cream, guacamole and salsa.
- Roll into a burrito. Repeat with remaining ingredients until all 4 burritos are rolled. Slice in half and enjoy!
