Candied Yams

Candied Yams are made by baking sweet potato chunks tossed with butter, brown sugar, salt, and cinnamon until tender and caramelized. Optionally topped with miniature marshmallows browned under a broiler, the dish offers a sweet, spiced, and soft texture that melds the natural yam sweetness with brown sugar richness. It's a common side dish during holiday meals.
