Candy Grapes Recipe (Jello Grapes)
Candy Grapes, also known as Jello Grapes, are fresh grapes dipped sequentially in water then flavored gelatin, then frozen to create a sweet, colorful coating. The gelatin hardens around each grape, offering a fun, icy contrast to the juicy fruit inside. Multiple gelatin flavors provide variety in taste and color, making these frozen treats visually appealing and refreshing.
Ingredients
- 1 lb grapes
- 1 box raspberry jello
- 1 box berry blue gelatin mix
- 1 box orange gelatin mix
- 1 box lime gelatin mix
- 1 box lemon gelatin mix
- 1 box grape jello
Instructions
- Begin by taking grapes off the stem and washing them thoroughly in a colander.
- Place one cup of water in a small dish and place each jello flavor in a small dish or on a paper plate.
- Place one grape on the end of a toothpick, dip it in the water, and then put it in jello.
- Place on a parchment-lined cookie sheet and line the grapes up by flavor.
- Place in the freezer for at least an hour or until the grapes are frozen.
Notes
- For a sour variation, use Jolly Rancher gelatin flavors instead of regular Jello to create sour patch grapes.
- Choose multiple gelatin flavors and colors for a fun, colorful presentation.
