Canned Tuna Meatballs

An easy-to-make canned tuna meatball recipe that requires under 10 minutes to prep and just a handful of ingredients. Enjoy them alongside mashed potatoes, mashed peas, or with a fresh salad.

Ingredients

  • 1 can of tuna well drained
  • 2 cloves of garlic minced or chopped
  • 1 egg
  • 3 tbsp breadcrumbs or flour
  • salt to taste
  • pepper to taste
  • 2-3 sprigs Dill or parsley

Instructions

  1. With a fork, flake the tuna into a bowl.
  2. Stir in the egg, herbs, salt, pepper, and breadcrumbs, mixing until you get a firm mixture.
  3. Preheat the oven to 190 °C/375 °F and line a baking tray with parchment paper.
  4. Shape the balls, approx. 3 cm (~1 inch) in diameter, with slightly wet palms and place them on the baking tray.
  5. Bake for 20-25 minutes or until they are nice and brown.
  6. Enjoy with your favorite dressing, in sandwiches, or paired with a colorful salad.
