Caprese Caesar Cocktail – Canada Day Caesar Drink
The Caesar Drink, Canada's cocktail, gets dressed up with a Caprese skewer in the colours of Canada's flag. This delicious cocktail is made with clamato juice.

Ingredients
Caprese Skewers
- 12 bocconcini balls or medallions
- 12 fresh basil leaves
- 12 Cherry or grape tomatoes
- 2 tablespoon extra virgin olive oil
- 2 tablespoon lemon juice
For the Drinks
- Ice cubes
- Lemon wedges
- celery salt
- 6 oz vodka
- 16 oz Mott’s Clamato Juice
- 8 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
- 4 teaspoon hot sauce
- 1 teaspoon dried oregano
- salt & pepper to taste
Instructions
Caprese Skewers
- On 4 six inch skewers, thread 3 bocconcini, 3 basil leaves, and 3 cherry tomatoes, repeating until skewer is full. Make one skewer per drink.
- Put skewers on a plate and drizzle with extra virgin olive oil and lemon juice
Cup of Yum
For Each Drink
- Rim the glass with a lemon wedge
- Put celery salt on a saucer, and rotate the rim of the glass in the celery salt
- Add ice cubes to glass
- Add 1 ½ oz vodka, 4 oz clamato juice, 2 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce, ½ teaspoon hot sauce, ¼ teaspoon oregano, and salt and pepper.
- Stir and garnish with Caprese Skewers
Notes
- To make this drink gluten-free, be sure to check that your vodka, and your Worchesteshire sauce are gluten free.
- Caesars can be enjoyed as a mocktail by omitting the vodka.
- The drink ingredients can be premixed in a pitcher if you prefer not to make the individual drinks.
