Ingredients

  • 1 (13.25 ounce) box yellow cake mix
  • 1 (21 ounce) can apple pie filling
  • 2 large eggs
  • 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
  • ¾ teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 4 tablespoons whole milk
  • 1 (8 ounce) container thawed whipped topping
  • caramel sauce and toffee bits for serving

  1. Preheat the oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit. Spray a 9x13 inch pan with nonstick spray and set aside.
  2. In a large bowl, add in 1 (13.25 ounce) box yellow cake mix, 1 (21 ounce) can apple pie filling , 2 large eggs, 2 teaspoons vanilla extract, ¾ teaspoon ground cinnamon, and 4 tablespoons whole milk. Stir together until just combined and smooth.
  3. Pour the filling into the prepared pan and bake for 22-26 minutes or until a toothpick, when inserted in the center, comes out completely clean. Remove from the oven and allow to completely cool.
  4. Once completely cooled, spread 1 (8 ounce) container thawed whipped topping evenly over the cake and chill in the fridge for 20 minutes.
  5. When ready to serve, Drizzle generously with caramel sauce and toffee bits for serving .
