Ingredients

  • 1 pound pineapple approx. half a medium pineapple
  • 1 pound celery approx. 4 large ribs
  • 1 medium granny smith apple quartered and seeds removed
  • ½ inch fresh ginger

Instructions

    Cup of Yum
  1. Wash your produce thoroughly and cut the pineapple into spears or chunks. The celery ribs fit without cutting. Then quarter the apple and remove the seeds.
  2. Start by juicing the pineapple FIRST and then follow with the apple, ginger, and celery.
  3. Give your juice a quick stir and enjoy right away.

Notes

  • Don't use a blender. A blender will make a smoothie, not juice. Use a high-quality, masticating juicer, like the Sana 727 for the best results. Masticating (or slow juicers) slowly extract the juice and do not add heat. Heat can destroy nutrients from your produce so you won't get the full benefit.
  • Make the amount of juice you plan to consume, not extra. Freshly made juice without preservatives will not keep very long, and for optimum health benefits, should be enjoyed straight away.
  • To speed up juicing prep time, you may wash and cut your produce the night before and refrigerate it in a sealed container. Then in the morning, your fruits and veggies are prepped and ready to pass through your juicer.
