Ingredients

  • 1/4 cup green cardamom aka Elaichi
  • 2 tablespoon cloves aka Laung
  • 2 tablespoon black peppercorns
  • 1 tablespoon fennel seed saunf
  • 6 inch cassia cinnamon aka Dalchini
  • 3 tablespoon ground ginger
  • 1 tablespoon black cardamom about 11, Moti Elaichi
  • 1 nutmeg grated

Instructions

    Cup of Yum
  1. Mix all the ingredients in a blender. Grate the nutmeg. Then, blend to make a coarse powder.
  2. Store in an airtight container for up to a month.
  3. Use 1/4 tsp of this powder for each cup of Indian masala chai.

Notes

  • Prepare only small batches of the chai masala powder to ensure freshness and maximum flavor.
  • Grate the nutmeg fresh before blending to retain the strongest aroma and taste.
