Chana Chaat
Description
Chana Chaat uses cooked potatoes and drained canned chickpeas combined with finely chopped onion, seeded and chopped tomato, and green chili. The dish is seasoned with roasted ground cumin, dried mango powder, red chili powder, salt, and pepper to create a flavorful base.
Tamarind (imli) sauce is stirred in for tartness. Crispy elements like sev and crushed chaat papdi or puffed pani puri are added for texture, and fresh coriander leaves are used as a garnish. The mixture is served immediately to maintain the freshness and crunch of the toppings.
