Ingredients

  • 8 ounces (227 grams) cream cheese softened at room temperature
  • 8 ounces (227 grams) Irish or sharp cheddar cheese shredded
  • 1 garlic clove peeled and minced
  • 1 teaspoon (5 milliliters) Dijon mustard
  • 1 teaspoon (5 milliliters) Worcestershire sauce
  • 1/2 teaspoon paprika
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/8 teaspoon freshly ground black pepper
  • 1/3 cup (80 milliliters) Guinness
  • 3 green onions thinly sliced
  • 1/4 cup (10 grams) fresh parsley chopped

Instructions

  1. In the bowl of a food processor, add the cream cheese, Irish or Cheddar cheese, garlic, mustard, Worcestershire sauce, paprika, salt, and black pepper. Process until well combined.
  2. Add Guinness and process until smooth. Transfer to a bowl and fold in the green onions and parsley. Adjust the salt to taste.
  3. Cover and refrigerate for at least an hour to let the flavors blend.
  4. Serve with crackers, pretzels, vegetables, and/or bread.
