Cheesy Beef Queso Dip
This quesoy dip combines lean ground beef, onions, processed cheese loaf, salsa, and Mexican cheese blend into a creamy, savory dip perfect for serving warm alongside crispy taquitos. The dip melds spiced beef with melted cheese and salsa, creating a rich, smooth texture. Optional milk adjusts the consistency for dipping. It is a hearty snack or appetizer featuring familiar Tex-Mex flavors with a blend of cheeses and spices.
Ingredients
- ½ pound ground beef lean
- ½ medium onion chopped
- 1 pound processed cheese loaf cubed
- ¾ cup salsa
- ½ teaspoon cumin
- 1 teaspoon chili powder
- 1 cup Mexican cheese blend shredded
- 1-2 tablespoons milk optional
- Taquitos optional for servnig
Instructions
- Cook Taquitos in the oven according to package directions.
- In a large pan, brown ground beef & onion until no pink remains. Drain.
- Add processed cheese, salsa, cumin & chili powder and reduce temperature to low. Stir until smooth and melted.
- Remove from heat and stir in shredded cheddar cheese and milk (optional).
- Serve warm with taquitos for dipping.
