Description
Cheesy Beef Queso Dip starts with browning lean ground beef and onions until fully cooked, then draining excess fat. Processed cheese loaf and salsa are added to the pan along with cumin and chili powder, and the mixture is gently melted and stirred until smooth. Shredded Mexican cheese blend is incorporated to enrich the flavor and texture. Adding a small amount of milk can thin the dip to preferred consistency.
The dip is served warm with oven-prepared taquitos for dipping, making it a filling appetizer or snack. The combination of ground beef and cheese with the tomato-spice salsa adds familiar Tex-Mex taste layers. The cheese melt creates a creamy and thick texture suited for scooping with taquitos.

Ingredients
- ½ pound ground beef lean
- ½ medium onion chopped
- 1 pound processed cheese loaf cubed
- ¾ cup salsa
- ½ teaspoon cumin
- 1 teaspoon chili powder
- 1 cup Mexican cheese blend shredded
- 1-2 tablespoons milk optional

Instructions
- Cook Taquitos in the oven according to package directions.
- In a large pan, brown ground beef & onion until no pink remains. Drain.
- Add processed cheese, salsa, cumin & chili powder and reduce temperature to low. Stir until smooth and melted.
- Remove from heat and stir in shredded cheddar cheese and milk (optional).
- Serve warm with taquitos for dipping.
