Cheesy Herbed Bacon Muffins

Ingredients

  • 2 c Bisquick, or your favorite baking mix
  • 1 c Milk, buttermilk is even better
  • 1 c cheese
  • 1 Tbsp chives
  • 1/4 tsp minced fresh rosemary
  • 1 1/2 tsp fresh parsley
  • 4 lices Bacon

Instructions

  1. Place Bacon on Roaster Pan and Bake at 375°F/ 191°C for about 15 minutes until crisp.
  2. Grate Cheese.
  3. Chop Parsley, Rosemary and Chives.
  4. Mix up Bisquick. Add Cheese, Parsley, Rosemary and Chives and mix.
  5. Spray muffin tins with no-stick spray or use muffin cups. Fill tins 2/3 full.
  6. Bake at 375°F/ 191°C about 20 minutes until brown.

  • Notes: General Baking Tips:
  • Always measure dry ingredients with a dry measuring cup. Measure with dry measuring cups or weigh dry ingredients.
  • Always measure liquid ingredients with liquid measuring cup
  • Never break eggs directly into recipe ingredients. Break eggs into a separate bowl, in case you get any shells, so that you can pull them out.
  • Make sure that you know what temperature your oven is set at. Buy an oven thermometer and check oven temperature regularly.
  • Always check baked goods, like cakes or quick breads with cake tester, placed in center. If the tester comes out clean, it’s done.
