Ingredients
- 2 cups all-purpose flour
- 2 tablespoons sugar
- 1 tablespoon baking powder
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1½ teaspoons garlic powder
- 2 teaspoons Italian seasoning
- 1¼ cups whole milk
- 2 large eggs
- ¼ cup Butter, melted and cooled
- 2½ cups shredded cheddar cheese
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit and spray an 8½ x 5-inch bread pan with non-stick cooking spray.
- Whisk together 2 cups all-purpose flour, 2 tablespoons sugar, 1 tablespoon baking powder, 1 teaspoon salt, 1½ teaspoons garlic powder, and 2 teaspoons Italian seasoning in a large mixing bowl.
- Gently stir in 2½ cups shredded cheddar cheese.
- In a separate bowl, whisk 2 large eggs. Add 1¼ cups whole milk and ¼ cup butter, melted then whisk until combined.
- Pour the egg mixture into the flour mixture. Stir until just combined and no flour streaks remain. Do not over-mix!
- Pour the batter into the prepared bread pan and bake for 60 minutes or until the bread is cooked through the center.
- Cool the bread in the pan for 10 minutes before serving and slicing!
