Ingredients
- 1 pound ground sausage regular, Italian, or spicy
- 8 ounces cream cheese, cubed
- 10 ounces diced tomatoes, with juice
- 4 ounces green chilies
- 2 cups pepper jack cheese, shredded
- cracked black pepper, to taste
Instructions
- Add 1 pound ground sausage to a medium-sized skillet. Break up the sausage into pieces and cook over medium-high heat until browned and no longer pink.
- Add 10 ounces diced tomatoes, 4 ounces green chilies, and 8 ounces cream cheese,. Cook over medium heat, stirring until the cream cheese is melted.
- Add the shredded 2 cups pepper jack cheese, and stir until melted.
- Taste and season with salt and cracked black pepper, if needed.
- Garnish with chopped cilantro and sliced jalapenos.
- Serve warm with tortilla chips, crackers, or crostini.
